Lunch room investigation

The students of Room 8 were Earth detectives today. Miss. Griffith dumped out the lunch room garbage and recycling cans. The children recorded their observations on clipboards, noting the Earth mistakes.

Makayla said, "I saw many Earth mistakes in the garbage and that makes me really sad."

William saw straws in the juice boxes in the recycling bin. He said, "Kids need to put straws in the garbage".

Griffin saw some wasted food in wrappers that he thought that kids should take their food home.

Addison saw an orange peel and Kylie saw a banana peel that could have been composted.

We have decided to write a letter about how to help the Earth and post it on the lunch room fridge.
