Afternoon Adventures

When we come in after lunch, there is a bucket at our tables. We have 10 minutes to explore the centres. One centre is learning a new app on the iPads. Another centre is making words. The third centre is iPad choice and the last centre is a discovery centre where we play. 

Here we are making words with plastic cups.

We are learning how to use Tellagami.

We are making things with playdoh, googly eyes, toothpicks and pipe cleaners.

We got to choose any iPad app to practice and play.

Carl said: "It was very fun!"

Cara said, "We got to have a lot of fun!"

Frog Eggs

Look what we have in our classroom! Mrs. Turner found some frog spawn in a ditch in Assiniboine Park. Some are growing inside their egg sac. We wonder when they will hatch. 

We were so excited about our new visitors that many children chose to read to the growing tadpoles at Daily 5 time.

Family Fun Night

Thank you to the families who were able to join us for Family Fun Night. We hope you enjoyed exploring the centres, playing alongside your child and experiencing the hands-on activities that help extend your child's learning at school.

Cleaning Up the Earth!

Ms. Vaughan is teaching our class about the environment. We are learning what WE can do to help the Earth. Today we went outside and cleaned up ou playground!
