Our Spring Celebration

Today we celebrated the arrival of spring in Room 8. We transformed our winter bulletin board into a bright flower garden with hopes that nature will follow our lead! We read spring books and were inspired by Barbara Reid's book called A New Baby Calf.  We created spring images using clay and wrote a spring poem.  Thanks to Mrs. Ullyot for helping us make "Worms in Dirt". It was delicious!!!

Getting Ready...

The students have been hard at work to prepare for family conferences this week.  The children have written and published their own non-fiction books about polar bears. We are sure that families will enjoy reading these books and learning new and interesting facts. The artwork on the covers is beautiful!  The children also are ready to teach their families an addition or subtraction math game. We look forward to seeing you soon!
